Changelog & Notes

🚀 Added & Enhanced Features

  • Direct TokenHUD Prototype Expansion (ShadowsTokenHUD.js):
  • Refactored ShadowsTokenHUD to dynamically expand TokenHUD.prototype._onRender via ShadowsTokenHUD.init() during module initialization.
  • Eliminated replacing CONFIG.Canvas.hud.token or using loose renderTokenHUD hooks, ensuring high compatibility with other canvas HUD modules.
  • Dynamic Right-Click Target Action Buttons & Melee Weapon Logic:
  • Unarmed Combat / Fists: Renders the Fist icon (fas fa-hand-fist, Orange 👊).
  • Melee Blades & Weapons: Renders the Melee Attack icon (fas fa-hand-fist, Red 🗡️).
  • Ranged Weapons (Loaded): Renders the Target Crosshair icon (fas fa-crosshairs, Red 🎯).
  • Ranged Weapons (Empty Ammo, <= 0): Renders the Reload icon (fas fa-rotate, Amber 🔄).
  • Spells: Renders Magic Sparkles (fas fa-wand-magic-sparkles, Purple ✨).
  • Melee & Unarmed Reload Immunity: Fixed ammo checks so Melee weapons (Blades, Swords, Knives, Daggers, Katana, Clubs, Axes) and Unarmed Combat never check clips or display reload buttons.
  • Strict Equipped Weapon In-Hand Selection & Defaults:
  • Enforced strict equipped validation in ActionService.getSelectedInHandItem(): unequipped weapons are ignored and never selected as active in-hand items.
  • Set Unarmed Combat (unarmed) as the strict default whenever no weapon is currently equipped on the actor.
  • Native System Attack Action Pipeline for Unarmed Combat:
  • Resolved embedded equipment weapons (e.g., "Unarmed Attack", "Waffenloser Kampf", "Cyber-spikes", "Fäuste") and system action documents.
  • Replaced raw skill rolls with full SR5 Weapon Attack Action Rolls (realItem.castAction(), actor.rollItem(), actor.rollGeneralAction()), executing damage calculations (STR + modifiers), Reach, AP, and defender prompts.
  • Target Lock State & GM Binding Protections:
  • Preserved GM Target Lock (targetLocked = true) during canvas token selection events.
  • Right-clicking target tokens as GM with Target Lock active or as a Player opens a clean Target HUD, while right-clicking the locked token itself restores standard Foundry Token HUD controls.
